June 27th, 2009, Santa Barbara, CA  -  The SLO Rattlers (15-7, 8-6 CCL) dropped their 2nd straight CCL game to rival the Santa Barbara Foresters (14-5, 6-2 CCL).  The final score was 4-3.

Starting Pitcher Bob Mott (1-1) went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits, 3 strikeouts, and walked one.

Relief Pitcher Brandon Van Dam pitched two perfect innings of relief, striking out 3 to keep the Rattlers in the ballgame.

The Rattlers made it interesting when they scored 2 runs in the top of the ninth, and had the tying run on third base and the go ahead run
on first base, but were unable to bring them home.

Offensively, C Josh Jackson was 2 for 4, with two 2B's.

RF Robbie Nadalsky went 2 for 3, with 1 RBI, and 1 run scored.

The same two teams play tomorrow, Sunday July 28th, 2009.  Game time is 1:00pm.
