June 25th, 2009, San Luis Obispo, CA - The SLO Rattlers (15-5, 8-4 CCL) beat the Santa Maria Valley Packers (8-11, 3-9 CCL) tonight to complete the Home Series Sweep.
Starting pitcher Richie Mirowski (4-0) continued his winning ways, pitching 6 innings, allowing only 2 hits, 1 earned run, and striking out 4 Packers.
Adam Clerici (4) pitched 1.1 innings, striking out 4, to earn his 4th save of the summer.
Offensively, the Rattlers were led by DH Bobby Buckner, who went 1 for 3, with 2 runs scored, and 1 BB.
The Rattlers begin a 3 game road CCL series tomorrow night in Santa Barbara against the Foresters. Game time is 5:00pm.
