June 24th, 2009, San Luis Obispo, CA  -  The SLO Rattlers (14-5, 7-4 CCL) were able to pull out a victory over the Santa Maria Valley
Packers (8-10, 3-8 CCL) with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th Inning, 3-2.

SS Mike Miller was able to bring 2B Evan Busby home with two outs with a single up the middle.  Busby had walked, and then stole second.

Starting pitcher Joey Parsons pitched 5 innings of 1 hit baseball, striking out 8, and allowing only 2 unearned runs.

Jared Levin (1-0) pitched 2 innings of scoreless relief to secure the victory, allowing only 1 hit.

Miller was 1-3 in the game, with 1 RBI, 1 run scored, and a walk.

The same two teams play again tomorrow night, Thursday June 25th.  Game time is 7:30pm.
