Rattlers Drop League Contest To Packers, 6-3

Starting pitcher Richie Mirowski (6-4) pitched 5.1 innings, allowed 5 hits, 3 runs, 3 earned runs, walked 3, and struck out 4.
Offensively, 2B Evan Busby went 1 for 2, was hit by two pitches, and scored 2 runs.
C Josh Jackson was 3 for 4.
CF Mitch Haniger was 1 for 4, with 2 RBI's. Haniger also had a spectacular throw to close out the bottom of the 8th inning, when he threw out a runner at third base that was trying to tag up on a fly ball to center.
The Rattlers are in Santa Maria again tomorrow, Wednesday, July 29th, 2009, playing the Packers in a CCL contest. Game time is 6:00pm.
